Alex Trup

Alex is the founder of Asian Business Radio and a Taipei based Londoner with a passion for all things business, marketing, media, culture and technology – particularly when applied to an Asian context. Alex is the Digital Marketing Manager at Upstream Asia, an Asia Pacific focused marketing and communications consultancy. Alex also owns and manages Evocative Records, a record label and company dedicated to the promotion of music between east and west.

A graduate from Durham University in the United Kingdom, Alex has studied a mix of Asian languages (Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese) as well as business and marketing.

Alex’s passions and interests include music, movies/television, business, technology, dance and rock climbing.
